Disc 1 of the patio show downloaded and uzipped just fine. But, disc 2 downloaded and when I tried to unzip it, it told me the file didn't have a 'valid archive.' Tried to download it again, but it would not work from the mediafire link.

Both zips were acting a little funky on my Mac, but eventually they worked for me. Normally, on the Mac you can just double-click a zip to extract it, but I had to right-click and do it manually with these for some reason.

I just added the complete show from 04/28/1996 to the list. It's a 93.6 MB download, but the quality isn't bad. It's a .MOV file (QuickTime), 320x240 resolution. I chose to sacrifice the resolution for higher quality audio, so it sounds great. The set is 36 minutes long, the video is professionally shot, and the sound is straight from the soundboard.
The setlist is as follows:
About A Kid Darryl Freddie Had A Lady Pop Trash Month And A Half Simple Song Dig

I have several other shows on CD (audio, not video) but I think most or all of them are already on archive.org. When I get a chance I'll sort through them and see if I have any that archive.org doesn't.

I added the patio version of Iron boots from '99 that they played on CYY before the patio show on the 27th. I also put up a zip file with the assorted other stuff I ripped that day, tracks in that folder are:
1 - Talking to Joey Disco in Monument Square (part1) 2 - Talking to Joey Disco in Monument Square (part2) 3 - Talking about the show and that weekend's Rave 'n Rage 4 - Jon and Spence short lead in "What time is it Jon?...." 5 - Tony in Studio 6 - Joey Disco talking to freaks in Monument Square 7 - In studio with patio seats contest winner
I also fixed the patio show date in the links that Tim posted (from the 26th to the 27th) and took down some of the "new" tags since they're not exactly new anymore.

I realized when I was doing the "Dream Setlist" thing that I never uploaded an instrumental song I have called "Pennyweight". It's taken from the closing credits of this independent short that Rustic did the score for back in the day (it's....interesting you can stream it from the site). I'd be curious to know if the whole score is available anywhere? I've never seen or heard anything about the score being released, but maybe some of you Portlanders know more about it.

I have a spare VHS of a Rustic show from 04/19/1996 I believe. It was at the Gorham High auditorium. I think it's a 2nd or 3rd generation copy. The film students put a lot of effects into places, but it was a great show. If someone PROMISES to digitize it, I'd love to send a copy. I would, but I don't really have the time or drive space right now.

Does anyone have unreleased PSC songs?
In my blurred memory of the few shows I made it to I can recall a few songs ... "The Fuzz" among them. Did anyone ever get these recorded?
Willwood, I haven't been able to find "The Fuzz" in any of my searches, but there are two old live shows on Archive.org. I love live recordings and these are a good add to any collection.
You'll find PSC, Rustic, Lettuce, Seekonk, As Fast As, Tony McNaboe, and many other bands. Where else are you going to find live recordings of Butthole Surfers, Grateful Dead, Asylum Street Spankers, and Turkey Bouillon Mafia all in one place.

I saw them perform the fuzz once or twice.. I don't remember it well but know I liked it. While I'm daydreaming I'd love to find their Closer cover and Letter to the President (now Dear Mr. President).

Willwood, give me a couple of days and I'll post a tune or two. As far as I know though "The Fuzz" (aka Shotdown, aka Fuck the Police) has yet to be recorded but hopefully it'll show up on the next PSC album. Unfortunately very few PSC shows were recorded so a lot of the rare or seldom played songs aren't available. I know we tried to put a list together on the PSC board back in the day and most of them were only heard by the people who were actually at the shows, not available on line anywhere. Let me see if I can find that list we put together.... here it is:
Originals: 1. Rock Singer 2. Can't Buy Me Love 3. Shotdown 4. 7 Minus 1 5. Everybody Run 6. Money
Covers: 1. Combustible (Rustic Overtones) 2. Pop Trash (Rustic Overtones) 3. Drop It Like It's Hot (Snoop Dogg) 4. Inspector Gadget Theme 5. For He's A Jolly Good Fellow 6. Hit The Ground (6gig) 7. Closer (Nine Inch Nails) 8. Iron Boots (Rustic Overtones)
