I was hoping someone would be going to the show tonight to get a report of what goes down. I didn't see a thread started for this so I started one up. Any info for tonights show would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It was a great show. It was McCartney vs Lennon. Spencer did McCartney. His band had a horn section that I think had a member of Rustic (Jason Ward?) and the drummer from As Fast As. Dave's band did Lennon with Roods, McNaboe, and Dominic from Dominic an the lucid. I don't know any of the other guys in the bands. Each band played 6 songs trading back an forth
I'm not very familiar with the songs, but I did know imagine and of course they ended night with members from both bands doing Hey Jude.
Does anyone know what the second song that Dave's band played that rocked? I can't remember any of the lyrics, but it had heavy guitar riffs.

See now, I thought it was going to be Albee & Gutter tunes. I had built up a situation in my mind where they were covering each other and Dave would rock Something Fierce and Spence would put the keys to 7 minus 1. Eh well, still must have been a cool show. Thanks for the info pat.

lennon songs i remember were jealous guy, instant karma, imagine, and love. mccartney songs were getting better, lovely rita, maybe i'm amazed, inside thing, lady madonna, and another that i can't remember. along with spencer and andrew hodgkins the mccartney band included billy libby (even all out, why hello), kyle (from cosades), sean morin (from cambiata), and someone else.
