I noticed last night that the two upcoming shows, including the Beatles show, had been removed from the schedule on the AFA myspace page, and that www.asfastasmusic.com was no longer up. Are they done? That would be a bummer, but I guess it's tough to focus on two bands.

Hmm, that is interesting. I never had the chance to catch a show following the Rockto/AFA changeover but I thought Open Letter was a great album, it'd be a shame to see them fold. Was there ever any mention of the band on the Octone website, because I can't find anything about them now?

I think they used to be included on the Octone site, though I can't say for sure. Last time I saw them was back in June at the Big Easy after Hache broke his arm. They played several new songs. Also, in the shows available on www.archive.org there have been a few new songs, or at least some I've never heard and that are not recorded, like Cheer Up Ray. It sounded like the Octone thing lost some steam when I heard that they were selling CDs at the show for $5. Search eBay and you'll find many copies out there for even less.

Sweet. The Asylum site has something else for that date, but hopefully This Is Real.

For Asylum shows your best bet is always a phone call to the boxoffice: 207-772-8274. Other than that, Bullmoose Music generally sells tickets for the Asylum so you can try them as well. Like Onlycrayons mentioned though, the Asylum has something else listed for the 16th. Definitely give them a call and let us know what you find out.

Just found a Nov. 10th show for AS FAST AS. Take this lightly and call The Middle East in Cambridge, Mass. only because I was the one earlier that found old Rustic albums on DeepDiscount only to find out that they were out of stock. Here it is www.mideastclub.com/Highlight DOWNSTAIRS and the Nov. 10 show has As Fast As playing. You may want to contact them first, because the As Fast As myspace says nothing about this show.
