A bit of talk about the Friday show, but anybody going to hit up the Sat gig? Last time the guys played the Church there was very little information or chatter, I'd like to see that change this time.
I'm still going to try and get to this show but my ticket connection has been MIA for the last week and a half so I have no clue if he ended up picking up tickets or if I should order them online. I'm driving down to NH to hang with a bunch of college friends on Sat morning and hopefully I'll hook up with him and the other people who want to go and figure it out. Anybody know how many tickets they're selling for these shows?
Hope to see some of ya'll there.

My girlfriend and I are going to the show tomorrow night!
I also went to the last show @ the stone church back in August, and I agree, there was not much info about it. It was an awesome show though. If you're still looking for tickets, they've most likely been sold out for a while, which sucks for people who just found out about it.

I managed to make it down to the Church and holy hell what a killer show last night! The guys seemed a little tired and things started off a bit low key but it picked up in a big way. Great set and some cool moments. I'll have my pics uploaded hopefully by tomorrow some time (I'm still down in NH) and more details and anecdotes about the show. Once again combustible was a highlight and there was some fun with mini pumpkins toward the end of the show.

Great Show. 'Twas my first time seeing them since reunited and The Stone Church was definitely the most intimate venue that I had seen them in. Combustible rocked and they had the whole place jumping by then. And Dave hopping in the crowd to have fans sing parts was great. Agree with Darek, they did look beat at the start and their set did start a little late, but...it's Rustic, so well worth it.
My wife, a causal fan, was hyped by the show and wants to see them again soon. May result in a full conversion.
It now being 11 years since I first saw them live, I would like to have had a few more pre-Viva Neuva songs on the set list, but not complaining.
Rustic still Rocks. Have to see them again soon.

Once again, great show. There were a lot of really hyped and cool people. I've had some pretty rough times at the Church with drunk a-holes but nothing like that this time. I actually talked for about an hour with a guy and his girlfriend(?) about assorted Rustic topics (was that you loveismywine?). Overall, just nice to be at a show where people were pretty much relaxed while still very much into the show. Don't get me wrong, there was still a lot of beer spilled and plenty of younger girls holding hands while pushing their way to the front midway through the show, but that's to be expected (though it's still annoying). Anyway some notes from the show: Like I said, the guys seemed pretty beat from the night before, especially Dave, but they managed to ramp things up as the show went on. The crowd also seemed pretty run down, but more from Dominic and the Lucid’s less than energy-packed set. There was a pretty decent turnout I'd say, with the Stone Church probably near capacity. A guy in a Luchalibre mask introduced the band (he had done the same thing for Dominic and the Lucid, asking if we were all ready for our “Earginas” to be fucked by a “Rock Cock”). Dave was rocking a tie and jacket to start the show. Somebody in the front row yawned a few songs into the set and Dave and Spence took a minute to chastise him with Spencer saying “ok, this next song is anti-yawn”. They then played C’Mon. Major sing-along was had on Feast or Famine Spencer brought out a pair of small pumpkins for the encore and proceeded to try and stuff one of them into J’s sax. As the set ended he threw one across the stage and Jon hit it with his bass. Dave picked up the smashed pumpkin and started “making it sing” into his mic then gave it to somebody in the crowd. Jon sang the Bowie backing vocals on Sector Z, but as is generally the case with his mic level, couldn't be heard at all. Setlist:Man Without a Mouth Girl Germs Hardest Way Possible Long Division Oxygen Carsick Smokashmir Troublesome C'Mon Gas On Skin Feast or Famine Crash Landing Dig Rock Like War Sector Z Light at the End Combustible That's how it was written on the setlist I got a picture of but I know there were a couple of changes during the show. Sector Z and Feast or Famine were switched from what I remember. If anybody remembers anything else by all means remind me. And finally, here are my pictures: Stone Church Pics(just ignore the stupid looking post-show pic of my buddy Brandon and I - I'm on the left for the record and I took the picture)

Great Pics Darek. Did the guys use smoke at all at the show? I think they go a little over board with the smoke sometimes at the shows anyway. Just nice to see pics clear and focused. Your pictures are the first I've seen without the thirty pics of Gutter and with more then two pictures of the horns section. ;D

Thanks man! No, no smoke thankfully. I don't think you can use smoke at the Church since it's so small and the stage is pretty much at floor level. I agree, they over do it on the regular and it makes pictures impossible.
I always try to get pictures of everybody else whenever I can. Dave makes for a lot of great pictures but the other guys don't just stand around iether. I was sort of bummed that I couldn't get a decent shot of Tony the whole show. I was actually farther back than I'd been in a long time at this show, but there were a lot of pretty short people so I would have felt bad being up front. As it was there was a pack of tall dudes right in front of me so most of the pictures were taken once I worked my way in front of them or when they were gone to get beers.

Here's a short little video I got of the end of Light at the End and the beginning of Combustible. Once again, the quality is suck-tastic but it's better than nothing I guess. Enjoy! Posted to Youtube

Suck-tastic is indeed better than nothing!! I posted a comment on it, but that video is great because you can practically feel how loud it was.. especially for the "one more bad thing," part. Thanks for the setlist and review.. I've included it with the list on r-o. Got your pics up already - ro.nonz.net/ro/gallery/12082007.php - many thanks for them as well! I also echo the intent to get pics of everyone.. Dave is just such an easy target! Speaking of which, I bought batteries today because my rechargeable ones die so quickly in my camera.. we'll see what I can come up with this Saturday. edit: gallery up and running
