Does Room 6 have anything to do with the Room 6 where they recorded in Portland, Me.? Anyone know the history behind Room 6 (the recording place)? Might help understand the lyrics a little better.

alright, finally i get to add something in this forum. usually, you guys are able to put the RO lore together faster than i can read it.

rm 6 is the room at prime artists rehearsal space that they occupied for quite some time. this was after rooms by the hour and before the whole arista debacle. a lot of songs were written there that were never played live or put on an official recording. this is where their writing mutated in to the genius that we all know now.

amazing, beautiful, dirty, genius, things happened there.

Now that I took a horrible stab at it and maxpower took a stab at it; it's up to someone else to use our lyrics and make them whole and worth something.

I talked to Dave Saturday night at the Asylum, and asked if they would play Room 6. He said no, not really surprised about that, but he did say they are planing on releasing parts of the song. He said there are parts of the song I like and parts that I don't like.

So I was thinking maybe it will be like how The Secret Song turned into Let Me Grabbitz?
