I thought this was too funny not to share...
My wife has always rolled her eyes my passion for Rustic. This has been going on for over ten years, since we were dating in college. There have always been a few songs she likes, and she has always acted like she was just going to concerts with me as something to do.
As Fast As came along, and she really loves them. We've managed to catch 5 or 6 shows, including one where I think we were the only ones there to see them. I honestly think AFA was more of a selling point for her at the New Years show than Rustic or PSC.
Recently, I've found her listening to the few Rustic songs she has on her iPod, and singing songs like Pink Belly and Carnival to herself.
Well, today, she just texted me to ask how far away Sunday River is. I called her back and she said "The more I here them, the more I want to hear them."
Congratulations boys, on winning over one more fan.

I have a similar story myself. I dragged my girlfriend to Maine with me for two of the reunion shows, and beforehand I let her borrow LATE (she did buy her own after seeing them) so she would know what kind of music it was. I converted her into a fan, as well as her now ex-roommate. She's so into them that we're seriously considering flying up to Maine every summer for vacation to see Rustic and escape the hellish heat and humidity of the South.

Good to hear that getting crushed in the lobby of Asylum didn't turn her off.
