They must be friends from somewhere along the way. He lists Rustic Overtones under his influences and Top Friends

And they are in the list of people he has played with. Is it just me? This is all making me a little nervous. The last couple shows they did not seem all that into it. No monster Ryan solos, same set list, two and done encores.....no new dates. Yet the PSC shows I've seen, and AFA New Years were just the opposite. Wicked energy.
Just put 2 and 2 together. Gavin / Gruvis Malt.

Oh man. Gavin as an addition to anything is probably the best thing ever. That boy'z got it together, yo.

Gavin is amazing and such a cool guy, I saw him over the fall in Boston and talked to him about rustic for a while after the show.
I am excited to see PSC at Harper's Ferry, but I wish it was Rustic adding more dates instead.
Have they mentioned anything about the re-releases of LATE and LD at the most recent shows? Or the DVD?

Oh man. Gavin as an addition to anything is probably the best thing ever. That boy'z got it together, yo. I couldn't agree more. Musically, they would grow exponentially. On the flipside - I think Gav has his hands in so much right now, I doubt it would be a high priority for him. Either way, I'd love to hear it.

Hopefully it is no big deal, but I have to admit this news gives me an uneasy feeling. I'm without question going to keep checking the forum to see if anyone has any other inside info.

We have plenty of stuff brewing. Not to fear. J. Thanks for the tip, J. By the way! Don't let them stick you in the back in the dark, like at new year's! Could barely see you guys

damn! gavin is the best. it'd be a great collaboration, and it makes perfect sense...jon and tony were on gavin's "dark age" album (for real, http://www.integersonly.com)
but psc and sidecar! sounds like a plan!

Did anyone catch Gavin's response (I assume) on Dave's Myspace page? Looks like they'll be a collaboration after all.

I gotta think AFA will be coming out with some gigs soon once their new album comes out.
I'm going to head up for PSC at Harper's Ferry.

Bump for tonight's show.. 4k said he was going to try taping it, good luck man!
If you go, grab some pictures, a setlist, a report.. anything - share it with us and I'll put it up and credit you! Same goes for the upcoming dates, of course.
