Ok, so I have been a little bored with the set selection at the last few shows I have seen. I know.......I should be happy just to get to see the band right? And my dad walked 10 miles uphill in the snow just to get to school.....
Anyway, I have seen 7 Rustic shows since July. And far and away the best of them all as far as song selection was the 8/4 show at Asylum. A little beatles to open, POP TRASH!!! The Heist, Simple Song, Check, Iron Boots and of course Freddy (which wasn't even on the set list I snagged)! It don't get much better than that. Although the Harpers Ferry show in August with History Crush and Daryl was pretty cool too, but a distant second.
So what was yours? Of the shows you have seen that is. I hear the other Harpers shows this December rocked, but unfortunatly I wasn't there.
So let's hear it!

Seen 4 shows so far, August @ Rev. hall, both Dec. dates @ Harpers and new years.
The second (Saturday/15th) night at Harpers Ferry was easily the best of them. The setlist was nice, pop trash, long division being the notable 'rarities' but it stood out more because of the energy. Both band and crowd were really into it and rockin' out and enjoying themselves.

I can only judge the reunion shows. By far my favorite set would be the Asylum Aug. 4th 2007 show. What an awesome show. Plus, it didn't feel like everyone was a fall down drunk or that everyone at the show had to be in the front row. Just seemed like everyone was there to rock no matter where they stood.

Damn! 8/4 was what I meant, not 8/21.
That is the exact show I was speaking of Nuphus.
Best by far. Good call.
And maybe I should have said it better, but I was referring to reunion shows only.

I have seen seven shows as well. (patio,big easy x2, lobster testicle, higher ground, opera house, speak easy) Wish I hit an asylum show.
Favorite show was the big easy show following the initial patio. Blown away by carnival, letter to the president and pop trash. It was just overwhelming to have them back and with strings. A close second was the show at the lobster festival. With the ferris wheel as a back drop the setting was cool, particularly for carnival. In the dvd sampler it looks like some footage from the lobster festival will be used. Can't bleepin wait for that sucker.

I agree 8/4. Pop Trash. Freddy. Lobby. Best show for me since Club Toast '98.
