This show was freaking awesome, best PSC show I have ever seen. And I seen plenty. Gavin was there. I recorded the show off the sound board. Definitly not too loud this time, but still not perfect. It is bearable and hopefully someone can fix it up some. Old board and I tapped into the Tape Out jack. Set list with some comments-
- Save Me - 2 Girls - Cable Hook Up (nice solo by Gavin @ the end) - Bully - Rhythm Is - She Gets me High - Righteous (Finally get to see my favorite song live) - (Gavin and Tony play some sappy 80's love song while Dave tunes) - Where the Sun Don't Shine - Chocolate - (More of the 80's song, Dave joins in and introduce Tony and Gavin as two new members of PSC) - F'n With My Head (nice guitar solo as usual) - Nothing Makes Me Happy (WOW!) - Theme Song - Evolution - Wasted ------------------- Encore (Ready for this?) I want You (She's so Heavy) Beatles Cover Holy shit!
I may have to try to get to Harpers next weekend. I would if I were you, this is not to be missed.

Raw show is here. It seems to get better as it goes. Still crappy though. I got most of Planeside as well on another file, although it stopped in the middle and I had to re-start. www.mediafire.com/?7ztdmyjor34

I had a feeling it was going to be good, but I just couldn't justify driving an hour each way. The roads would have raped me. Thanks for the music!

No Rapping. But if someone could name that song for me, it's driving me nuts.

No Rapping. But if someone could name that song for me, it's driving me nuts. It's "The One You Love" by Glen Frey. Gavin used it in his song "The Nice Clothes" off the album "Graceland". Good show. Nice try on the audio - at least it's not peaking. I like when you can hear the girl, "You better go get him. It's not recording a thing at all."

I have it in Wav. I'll try to get it up for you tomorrow.
Ya I don't know where that came from with the girl. I had a close eye on the laptop and it only stopped recording in the middle of Planeside, and it was closed the whole time as well. Can't get a good show to save my life, but somehow, I picked up myself clear as day saying "Holy Crap, that was wild!" at the end. And the drunk lady fighting too! :-)
I'd also be forever gratefull to anyone that had the time to split this up into individual tracks. I just don't see me having the time.

I don't mind splitting up the tracks, but I'd like to wait for the wav files though, my audio programs don't do mp3's. Thanks again for tapeing the show!

Thinking about this more, and the fact you can hear my voice among others clear as day near the board, I'm wondering if there was nothing at all coming out of that "tape out" jack and I recorded strickly through the mic on the laptop? That would explain the poor quality. What do you guys think?

That would explain the poor quality. What do you guys think? I had that same thought earlier today. All the soundboard recordings I have heard are usually a lot clearer. I think your recording sounds fine though, especially if it was from the laptop mic. I don't know much about PC's, but I know on my Mac I need to change the sound input if I want to record from some place other than the built in mic. Anyway thanks so much for recording the show, wish I could have been their, but the roads were just too crappy .

Just FYI I am working on getting the show up to be split by Maxpower. The .wav file was over 900mb, MediaFire will only allow 100mb uploads, so I need to split it. Just can't get the time with this snow and plowing and all. Coming, but sloooooooooooowly.

Thanks so much for getting this recorded and for breaking it up 4K. I just got back from vacation and had a chance to download the show. I think it sounds great. Awesome to have She's So Heavy recorded (just picked up the "Across the Universe" DVD this weekend by the way, I highly recommend it). Gavin is cool to hear playing with PSC, especially for one of the first times.
I only tell you this because I'd want to know, but all the tracks import to iTunes and Winamp as "Save Me" since that's what all the titles are set to under the properties summary, even though in the name field they're correct. They also all list as track 1. Totally not a big thing, easy to fix. Thanks again man!
And somebody name that 80's tune! I know it but I can't put any lyrics or a title to it.

Cool, thanks Darek. How do I fix that? I'm truely a beginner as you saw on NYE! Kevbag nailed the song as The One You Love by Glen Frey, that Gavin had used on one of his albums. I hope either he or Spenc show up Friday night in Dover to play some keyboard. I really think the sets are better and they seem to play songs like Bully, Rightous, Cable Hook Up, that they may not play otherwise in my experience. I'm going to bring the recording set up, so we'll see how it goes.

Looking forward to hearing how the Dover show goes.
As far as fixing the tracks, just right click on each one, go to properties, then summary (you may then have to click on advanced), and you can change the track and title info. There are other ways to do it (importing into iTunes and changing the info from there) but this is the easiest. Like I said though, it's no big deal. If folks want to change them, like I did, they can easily do it themselves. Thanks so much again for getting the show taped and up for us.
