According to Pollstar.com Rustic will be at Washington Park in Albany for what I believe is Lobster Fest on June 7th. You know, when I think Albany I think Lobster. Also on the bill are the Samples + others. Has anyone ever been to Lobster Fest in Albany?
Any more info. anyone?
I'm glad this is happening. I don't think I'll be able to make the next Rev. Hall show.

...There's a lobster fest in Albany? The only one I know of is in Rockland, ME. Funny. I should be there.

Lobster-Palooza is confirmed as June 7th, and runs from noon to 8pm, according to albanyevents.org. Washington Park is, well, a park. I'm not sure where the bands play, but they have free theater productions in the summers (or used to) and have a stepped amphitheater of sorts. Photo here from Tulip Fest (also held at Washington Park) looks like it's in a different area. I keep finding more as I write this.. about Tulip Fest, though.

When PSC played Tulip Fest. a couple of years ago they played the amphitheater stage (which I thought was great). I'd say they had between 2 and 3 thousand people wander over to check out there set. I'm personally hoping that they are set up there. The picture above looks like it's taken from the main stage. Either way it's going to be a great outdoor show.
See you in Burlington on April 10, hopefully Boston on the 19th and possibly others before this show rolls around though. I'm not going to be able to make it to the next Rev. Hall show due to having to finish my report cards and parent teacher conferences all day that following Friday.

After working at a lobster pound for the past 7 years, I strongly feel that Lobster-related-fests and paloozas should be reserved for Maine. Just my opinion.

Agreed.. it would be awesome to see them at the amphitheater stage. I haven't seen where/how they set up the "main stage" but it would be cool to see Rustic on a stage where they weren't all squeezed in!

I'm there. My brother lives directly across the street on Madison Ave. So with this being an afternoon show, I have to believe they will be playing another show later on. Maybe Rev Hall??? Can't see them making a trip all the way to Albany just for the one deal.

Can't say I would have expected to see Rustic on any bill that includes Ryan Cabrera.
Thanks for the update Nuphus.

Can't see them making a trip all the way to Albany just for the one deal. It is entirely possible that there will be a PSC show around this date. One of the many details that are slowly coming back to me, is that Dave said we could expect to see PSC in June, and then elaborated that it would be back here (rev. hall) too. It's speculation, no doubt, but it'll certainly be an early performance with the opportunity for a nightcap.

This date is no longer scheduled on the pollstar site, nor is there mention of the overtones on the lobster-palooza site. They have, however, posted another show for the same date, at the Stone Church, I've gone and made a topic for it here.
