Thanks very much Notreally, there were a bunch of songs from that show I'd never heard. That was right around the time I stopped going to Rockto/AFA shows and sort of lost track of them. I'm in the process of converting it to MP3 for folks and zipping it up and I'll post the link in the full shows section along with a link to the lossless version. Thanks again!

Ok, I added a bunch of live stuff I have. I have no clue where any of it is from since I was really bad at keeping things in order back in the day, they're only listed as "live" and I know they're all from back in the Rocktopus days. Enjoy!

And finally I added an '02 Rocktopus patio show with a bunch of covers and such that I've had forever. Super fun show.

I'm willing to be the pesterer.
Looking forward to it, the recording, not the pestering.

Added the 207 show in MP3 and a link to the video.
Hey crayons, consider this your bi-weekly pester.

www.archive.org/details/rocktopus2003-04-12.flac16that's a link to the something fierce cd release show at the state theatre on 4/12/03. www.archive.org/details/rocktopus2002-12-12.shnfand this one's for the wcyy holiday bizarre show with even all out, tony, and pete kilpatrick supergroup. also at the state. 12/12/02. both were recorded by aaron parker. and i'm working on uploading an mp3 version of the rockto show at the skinny on 11/3/02 (the show with planeside and damone... the one where rocktopus had a contest and winners covered their songs at the show.) this was also recorded by aaron parker. also, i always thought "mr. consepart" was called mr. conceptual art. and i (think!) the only time i heard it was at a show at bell buoy park in the summer of 2002. june, maybe? is that when this recording is from? i used to have a version aaron parker recorded at that show. i don't know if anyone has a recording of the new year's eve show that was at portland high school (2003?), but rocktopus played some eeearly versions of songs that ended up being on open letter to the damned. i remember spencer had a notebook with the lyrics 'cause they were so new. there was, at one point, at least a video recording of this show. this was the same time "ding! ding! here comes the shitmobile" came out / was passed out... and that is all. for now.

Yeah, that's what the song is acutally called Melissa but for some reason, typo or otherwise, that's how I had the file saved from way back when I downloaded it from who knows where, so I just left it as is.
Thanks for linking those other shows as well. I didn't put a general AFA archive.org link up simply because if you search for them over there you get a TON of stuff that has nothing to do with the band. I've always hated that about their name.

For those that prefer FLAC, I'm uploading the two new AFA shows (and Rustic at Harpers Ferry) to archive.org

Nice, thanks Nuphus. I'll add those in. I knew there was a way to refine it but I never had the chance to really look at it.
Awesome Crayons! It's about time we got some new stuff up on the Archive.

So I picked up The Hunt and Peck EP on ebay about a week ago and just got it in the mail yesterday. It's only 5 songs, all acoustic and all but one from the Octone release of Open Letter. The last track though is Plush. When I saw it on the ebay listing I assumed it was a re-titled or unreleased AFA track. Turns out, as I should have probably assumed, it's a cover of Plush by STP. Does anyone know if they ever played this live? They do a pretty good job on it, though clearly Spencer isn't Scott Weiland in terms of the vocals. I was just curious if anyone had heard the song played live, or had ever heard of the EP for that matter. It was new to me when it popped up on the bay.

I picked up the EP a year or two ago. I think I've heard them play it live a while back, but don't know of any recordings.
