I'm a senior over at St. Joe's and this is the nightcap to our "Spring Fling" event on Saturday in which everyone doesn't drink Friday night and sets their alarm for 8am on Saturday and blacks out by noon. Great time every year.
I'm close with the people that are setting it up and, unfortunately, the event is closed to non-St. Joes students. The students aren't even supposed to know about it, so I'm not sure how the info leaked to pollstar. Knowing the student body pretty well, everyone will definitely enjoy the music, but I would say there might be 20-30 students that actually know the music.
Either way it should be a blast and I'll let everyone know how it goes. Sorry again for those that wanted to come out.

Thanks for the update Farley. Too bad about it being students only. You'll have to give us a full report when you recover.

Soooo I finally recovered from last night. Had a great time at the show -- a little hazy, but here it goes...
The band showed up at least an hour late because they got stuck driving back from another show. Not too bad since we got to wait and drink in "the Beer Garden" right next to the gym where they were playing.
I got a new Olympus LS10 recorder from work, which has great quality. I asked the guy at the soundboard if I could plug in and record, to which I was promptly shot down with an "Absolutely Not." Oh well...
A modest crowd, maybe somewhere close to 100 large -- I think the late start sent a few people packing. Everyone was really into the show and I definitely got a few of my friends hooked (Already a few requests for CDs). A lot of kids were crowd surfing with a few bad spills -- not the best idea to trust other drunk people to catch you.
Didn't get the set list, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had no complaints from what I remember. C'Mon, Gas on Skin, Carsick, Oxygen, Combustible, History Crush, Iron Boots, Light at the End, Love Underground, Rock like War, Crash Landing, Long Division, Smallest Spark in no particular order. Encore went Weatherman, another song (probably one of the ones I just mentioned), and an absolutely killer version of Feast featuring a Noyes solo that took the place of the keys solo at the end (Nigel/Zoidis were not in attendance because of the Soulive tour). There were four horns total which made it that much better -- Angela was solo on the strings.
Talked with Noyes for a while after the show about a few things -- nice to chat with him. He mentioned that they'd be touring pretty hard around the Portland area and New England all summer.
Anyways, I'll quit my ramblings. Sorry no one else could make it out to the show.
