From this article: The latest album from the popular Maine band "Rustic Overtones" has set a new sales record for Portland's Bull Moose music store. Bull Moose says the album "Light at the End" had the highest-grossing first-week sales of a local release in the store's history. It broke the record set by the group's last album, "Viva Neuva," which was released in 2001.
Chris Brown from Bull Moose says first week sales are an indication of just how intense a band's fans are and that Rustic Overtones has obviously had an "awesome" impact on Maine music fans. How many bands can say they beat their own 5 year old sales record with that album's "follow up".
