Just about 2 weeks off.. I will be catching this show but not Friday's. Same stuff as the New Year's topic:
1- Anyone planning to tape this? I would like to if I find a means to do so, but I am not sure I'll be able to. 2- Anyone else here going, or not going because of lame friends? If so, we can meet up and rock out.

Does anyone have the set list from this show?

I've got a photo of a setlist, but the flash totally washed it out. I'm making a rather poor attempt to retouch some photos (lot of red eye) and I should be able to adjust the setlist shot to be readable. I'm almost done and I'll up it soon. The setlist was also changed a fair bit, so I'll see what I can remember. It was an amazing show, high energy crowd and it was most definitely reflected in the performance. I snapped a bunch of pictures but was just enjoying myself, so I make no promises to the accuracy. edit: here's the written version for starters

Alright, I give up. I ended up making both, but it's really hard for me to keep the 2 shows separate. There's some stories from each night, which I'll get to, but the Saturday show was absolutely insane. The last thing I was concerned about was the setlist as actually played The story of Friday night was the botched Bass toss. At the very end Jon threw it to Spence, or in his direction at least. Busted the neck on it and maybe more. Dave and Spence attempted to revive it with CPR and turned the pedals into defibrillator paddles. After reaching their grim conclusion, they saluted it and headed off stage. On The Drop opened. Saturday night was absolutely amazing. Right from the get-go the crowd was rocking, and the guys were in fine form. Spencer introduced everyone to Jon, the new bassist - filling in for Skip - and noted how impressed he was with such little time to rehearse. They treated us to some old stuff, notably Pop Trash and Long Division. Ryan had several sick solos and everyone flipped out, even Dave and Jon were shaking their heads. History Crush.. Oxygen went into a whole new gear. They left the stage and as he did Friday night, this guy Joey (with the sox hat in the pics) got on the front of the stage and helped sort out the encore cheers. After returning for the encore, Dave gave him props and invited him up to "air guitar" for Sector Z. Spence made a brief attempt to fill in on Sax.. but decided to stick to the keys. He gave Joey some advice and instructed him to "watch me for the changes, and try to keep up." This girl went up and danced for the last song, which I'm not sure was. I overheard someone say Dave gave her his jacket, she climbed up and took it off while dancing. Everyone left except Tony, who kept playing for her.. but she stopped and he gave up, quipping "next time we'll hire a real one." I remember speaking briefly with "Anthony" who snagged the setlist I took in that picture, about how much it changed and how they didn't play Feast or Famine. A lot of it looks ok to me.. so here's a very hazy educated guess: Setlist:C'mon Gas on Skin My Dirt History Crush Carnival Girl Germs Rock Like War Smoke->Kashmir Pop Trash Oxygen Happy Troublesome Light at the End Encore: Sector Z Combustible Long Division Iron Boots Hardest Way Possible ** Gallery is up**

Hey everyone, I just wanted to clarify about "Joey" and the girl. They are both fans of Welcome to Florida who opened for Rustic Saturday. Joey is my boyfriend and my brother is the lead singer on Welcome to Florida. We love Rustic and went to both shows. It was so amazing that my bro got to open and Dave called Joey up. We all are still elated. I have lots of pics on my myspace profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=3671004

Nice pictures Donna. J. Ward is Conflicted As Usual. I keep watching your video hoping Ryan's sax solo will magically appear at the end :-(

I know!!!! I'm sorry!!! Videoing is weird...it's like, there's a choice between dancing and getting into the song, or standing perfectly still for the video...and halfway thru the song I said, screw this, and turned off the cam to bounce around...lol

From the video, it looks like they had better stage lighting on Saturday than Friday. Is there someone who was at both, Jeff?, who could confirm? I was going to shoot some photos on Friday, but it was way too dark, and I prefer not to use flash.
At one point, Dave remarked that the crowd should be pissed for paying $20 and having no light show.

I didn't pay that much attention, my pictures weren't coming out well at all without flash either night. They were moving and changing somewhat on Saturday though, which it wasn't Friday. As Donna said, I was more concerned about enjoying myself I had originally even planned to spend one night really chill, towards the back maybe getting some footage with decent audio, but I got good spots and just stayed put.
