I'm sure I managed to get in his way a LOT. ladies and gentlemen, I give you.. Darek's hand! in all seriousness, only a couple times I hope a some came out, because I saw you taking some pictures when I would have, and so I didn't! Actually, I was recording the first part of Carnival and filled up my memory card, so I definitely took less pictures from then on. I had to lower my resolution, too. For those of you at home keeping score, I failed (yet again) to get a keyboard handstand shot. And still working on the non-flash, action shots.. damn red-eye! ninja edit: also sucked major balls that the horns were in the way back corner, i gave up trying to get pictures

I have several good quality videos from this show that I will put up later today. I have about 3 songs each from AFA, PSC and Rustic. I will be uploading them to YouTube and then posting the links in a new thread. Be on the lookout.

I'm apologizing in advance if you feel a bit sick after viewing. The steady hands were not so steady.

Awesome vid! I'm super envious that your camera records decent audio, heh. I recorded part of Carnival (til my card filled up and it auto-stopped) and even that didn't come out that great. Thanks for getting that and sharing :-) edit: added it to the r-o news/blog

AFA This show blew me away. www.mediafire.com/?0uey32zli0dJust noticed this on the Rustic setlist, Carsick was played in conjunction with Oxygen. I had it in my notes but missed typing it in.

Thanks for getting those up, 4k. I was really disappointed when you said it was super loud, it's not all that bad actually. Some parts are definitely not so good, but they are definitely worth getting. Some great moments in each set, the wicked solos on Skin The Kat, the crowd fills for Wasted, and oh my, the strings closing out Light At The End. Oh my. I like their intro to Crash Landing too, very nice!
edit: and auld lang syne!

Andrew's drum solo on Skin the Kat was absolutely ridiculous. I'm glad to hear As Fast As is winning so many people over.
Darek, it's interesting that you missed the samples and loops on the PSC songs. I thought that was the best part of their set. I always thought the loops made the performances sound too canned. The live songs on New Years were a big departure from the CD, but that's what I love about live music. It got down to the essence of the songs. Different tastes, I guess.
I absolutely loved how we all chimed in on the "what's the time..." part.

the big guy who was in the shoving match with the other douche was drunk and pushing my friend and i around during most of the concert...i wasn't unhappy to see them both gone. that sorta stuff happens, though. in any case, i'm glad people got pics since i didn't bring my camera in. it would've messed up the profile on my sweet 70's polyester, knowwhati'msayin as for the recording, there's not much you can do once the sound is clipped coming in. you might be able to do some piece-wise work but it sounds like the level was way too high across the board. you might have some luck with high-frequency eq'ing but i wouldn't hold my breath. a board with no tape out is surprising, though. this is a declipping plugin for audacity: www.nabble.com/-Audacity-help--Two-questions-to8466145.htmlwish i would've noticed this board earlier. could've helped out. =tmtk=

Proving that none of us could figure out what the hell was going on with Audacity: thanks to Cherry for the pic.

"How many goofy necklaced guys does it take to figure out an input on a laptop?"
.....
and that pic is the punchline.
