About a month ago, a guy on Youtube posted a video of Rustic playing Long Division and Darryl at Zoots back in '96. I shot him a message a few weeks ago to ask if he had any more of the show. Low and behold, today he sent me a message saying he posted the ever elusive 6th of June. Of course, I'm at work so I can't even watch/listen to it, but you can bet I'll be ripping an MP3 of it in the morning. It's a great oldie.... I know I could record the youtube and turn it into a wav or wma files if you need.

Thanks man, but no need. I went ahead and used Vixy.net to make a downloadable video and an MP3 version from here (though I still have no idea what it looks or sounds like). I'm working on getting them uploaded now and I'll post again with links when I get them up. |

You may have to download a free DivX codec if you want to play the AVI. That's what I had to do to get it to play in Windows Media. You can download the codec here or you can just download the free DivX player here. Glad to hear the MP3 worked though. |

Another one of the greats that never made it to record. I had a CYY patio show on tape for the longest time with 6th of June and if i"m not mistaken, Last Night's Band. Had to have been '98 or '99. I lost that tape a long time ago. Great to have this song back.

That really is cool song.
So, back in the day, the legend was that this song was turned in to a couple other songs that we know now. I can't remember which ones, but like someone else said in this thread, it sounds like Iron Boots is in there somewhere, and I feel like I hear History Crush in there too.

The beginning of the song also sounds a bunch like kicking and screaming to me as well. Don't know if anyone else hears that too....

Thankful for 6th of june. When the thread for which song you would like to hear I new right away it had to be 6th of june. I have two friends with that date being their birthday so the song stuck out a bit. Last time I heard it was the first state theater show forever ago. Hope someday to get a high quality recording of this killer tune.
