Brilliant. I've been planning a trip down there and almost moved there.. that's still in the works, but I'm gonna keep my eye on this and tentatively plan on going Glad to see if I do that I won't be entirely out of the tour loop!

I don't know how you track these things down... That's 'cause we're from northern Vt. and are use to tracking down good shows. I will admit that Beerlington does bring some top names in, but not on a constant basis. Good catch on this one Darek. Love the pic too. (wished Ward wasn't hidden, but usually it's Noyes hidden or airbrushed out)

I can assure that the music scene is not a whole lot better outside of Burlington. Sure, I'm a shorter drive from Boston and NYC down here in SE CT, but I definitely saw more great shows at Higher Ground, Toast, Nectars and Metronome than I expect to down here. In the coming month, I can head over to the casinos and see Anne Murray, Toby Keith, Bronson Arroyo, and Joe Perry!
Burlington may be a northern outpost, but it always pulls in good shows, and churns out plenty of local talent. Speaking of which, check out Red Hot Juba if you get a chance. They play old-timey folk jazz and blues. They're at Nectars on 1/31 and Red Square on 2/11.

Very interesting. I'm in DC so maybe I'll make the quick jaunt up to Baltimore to check this show out.

I knew it was only a matter of time before they came back to B'more. I'm there! Thanks Darek for the heads up I expect a full report. Well - I haven't moved down there (nobody wants to hire me /sigh) but I'm heading down to visit a friend and am expecting to be in attendance. I'll be snapping pics at the very least, and am going to re-investigate recording possibilities. If I can borrow my parents camera I'll test it for video (mine has a time limit per clip) and practice for the Rev. Hall gig - since it's a Thursday night I may chill on the balcony and push for some high quality stuff then

Not the end of the world. I'll see them again Having a good time seeing a friend I've not seen for a while. I think they got the part in today but wouldn't have made it in time, I don't know specifics but it sounded like the rest should be okay.
