Rustic has added a blog for the "Tickets on sale now for NYC!" They also have added themselves to three other sites www.reccenter.com/rusticovertonesvirb.com/rusticovertonesmindviz.com/rusticovertonesOn all three of these sites they have added the Valentine's Day Massacre song from Viva Nueva. So this might mean that there is no remake and they just added it to LATE unaltered. Also the image that they're using for the LATE album cover on all three of these site is the Pat Corrigan artwork from the Waterville Opera House show. Everything else is pretty much the same as Myspace |

On the other hand, Valentine's Day Massacre is paired with Viva Nueva, while Oxygen has LATE album/art. I'm going to argue that if the old VDM was going to be on the new LATE it would have the album listing/art of LATE, too, and not Viva Nueva. I'm not sure I explained that well, but I don't know how else to say it. I still think they're redoing it, but who knows. We'll have to wait and see! |

Seconded, and I really liked that Waterville poster so it's nice to see it get used for something more widespread. I'm also going to back Jeff up on his comments about VDM getting re-recorded, but like he said, we'll all just have to wait and see (hear). |

Velour Music finally updated their page on Myspace. They added Troublesome and Blast Off (LETTUCE) to their player and this little bit of news. updated April 11th, 2008 VELOUR ARTIST NEWS ( www.myspace.com/velourmusicgroup)The new video for Rustic Overtones' "Letter To The President," from their new record "Light At The End" debuts today on YouTube. The video was shot in Brooklyn on February 29 when the boys were in NYC for their sold-out shows at Sullivan Hall and was directed by Doug Karr & Edward Boyce of Chop Wood Carry Water. Rustic Overtones’ tour rolls on with shows at Jerky’s in Providence, The Paradise in Boston and two BIG nights at the Asylum. Not sure how new these are since I haven't been on Myspace in a while but I guess J got jealous of Jon's iPhone Pics album so he's started his own with some very cool rehersal shots and some "making of" shots of the Rooms re-issue. Check'em out. |
