This sort of thread is generally a good time. I don't spend a ton of time on Youtube but when I have to stay up all night before my work week (like tonight) I'll search around, mostly for music or sports related stuff, though it can be hard to weed through all the crap. Here are the videos I have bookmarked that I think are worth checking out. David Sides Kanye West Medley - This guy learned to play piano by ear and takes hip-hop and R&B songs and arranges them on piano. Jason Mraz - Live High from France - I take a lot of flack for being a Mraz fan but whatever he's talented. He did a few of these videos recently while he was in France recording his new album. More artists should do stuff like this for the fans. Pop & Lock from BOTY 2005 - I got into watching break dancing videos on Youtube for a while, mostly because I can't do it at all and the music is good, this is easily the best longer video I've seen. Salah - Awesome popper from France, just really entertaining and the song gets stuck in my head all the time. Ok, that's enough, I'm going to stop before I make myself look like even more of a tool. Anybody else with some favorite Youtube clips?

I've seen so many things on youtube I can't even figure out where to start. I don't often go back and watch stuff multiple times, and it's difficult to recall some of the better ones off the top of my head. Also, this is just begging for a rickroll. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rickroll

Business Time - Flight of the Conchords song/sketch. I was introduced to them this summer by a friend, we watched their live performance. I didn't think it was that great and dubbed them Tenacious D ripoffs. I've long since changed my tune, their HBO show is a riot and the live show is better if you're already familiar with them. I think I had automatically stuck them into the "lame comedy that needs a gimmick (guitar/song) for success" genre when we started watching. Anyway, the show is great and there's many clips on YouTube of both their show and on stage.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGv4QvydHEQIn the tradition of mid-level bands with rabid followings (sound familiar?) I present the video for "Silent Film" by the now defunct Baltimore group called DOG FASHION DISCO. If you like Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, System of a Down, etc... these guys take it to another level. Enjizzle.
