I have a couple rustic recordings from when they played on WCYY Live at the Lunchbox--Love Underground and C'Mon, both acoustic versions. Though my tags say that they are the second and third songs. Does anybody know/have the first song from the set?

Don't have the other songs.... but would you be willing to share what you've got? I've never heard them acoustic. Which bring up an interesting point. Could we use this site as a forum to share some of those unique old recordings? Obviously we can't do that with the studio albums, but it seems like there are some gems out there that are impossible to find.

If RLW doesn't have the space or bandwidth to share rarities, R-O does. Tim and I are working on a partnership between the sites in which R-O would serve as an archive of sorts.

As long as there are no legal issues of any sort I'd be happy to share them. Just let me know what I need to do.

Does anyone know what songs they played on XM? I'd love to hear that, but I don't know if there would be legal problems if someone uploaded it...

I've also never had the chance to hear the XM session and would be very much interested in getting that uploaded here if someone sees fit to do so. I konw it was available for purchase, or at least as a promo but I would imagine it's out of print at this point.

I would assume the XM recordings are copyrighted, so I can't post them, but...
They were Gas on Skin, Crash Landing, and C'Mon. Not my favorite versions of any of those songs, but to each his own.
There is a copy up for bids on eBay right now.

I was sort of hoping nobody would post about that since I'm bidding on it, but best of luck to all I suppose.

I have a weird promo or test pressing of two live acoustic songs - C'mon and Combustible. It is labeled "Live on XM", but is obviously a different session than the one on eBay. I used to have a copy of Red Afternoon, but I can't seem to find it now. I also have a DVD of a show from back in 1996. It's a multi-camera mix, and has a soundboard feed for the sound. Unfortunately, the guitar part is REALLY quiet, probably because it was a small club and the guitar was on its own amp. The setlist is as follows: - About A Kid
- Darryl
- Freddie Had A Lady
- Pop Trash
- Month And A Half
- Simple Song
- Dig

I have a copy of Red Afternoon - don't know what show it is from unless you meant you had a copy of it from the CYY thing

Here's a sample of that DVD I mentioned earlier. This is an early version of Month And A Half with some different lyrics in it. It's just a couple of lines - something about getting a bloody nose and drinking Jose Cuervo. Anyway, it's in QuickTime format and is just under 19mb. Wow, talk about a time warp. That reminds me of what originally got me hooked in the first place. If you are willing and able, please post the rest of the show.
All this has made me dig back into my old boxes to look for memorabilia. Found my green T with the oval RO logo, a Rooms poster, and negatives from a show back in college. If I can find an affordable way to get them scanned, I'll post the photos.

I'll see what I can do about getting the rest of the show out there somehow. It's tough because it's a 35 minute show, which equates to about a 300mb file as a halfway decent quality MPEG-4 (probably worse as a QuickTime).
