Damn I love the Stone Church. Have to see how the work situation looks in June.
Thanks Jeff!

* Just a heads up *
Due to road construction, parking might be more limited than usual on Main street (depending on where they're working on right now). Also - It is all 1 way traffic from downtown towards Durham/Dover until you get to the library (i think?), then you can swing around and either park in a lot out back somewhere or go back downtown and look for another spot on the road.
Didn't see anything posted about this, so I hope everyone knows ahead of time!

So wish I could be there but I'm down in Staten Island this weekend. I expect a full report people.
Thanks for that article 4k, I new they were having a tough time but I didn't know it was that bad. Man I hope they don't close, that would be a real shame. Anyone who hasn't been to a show at the Church, you better take this opportunity in case they do shut the doors. Tons of great Rustic/PSC/Rocktopus memories at that place.

If I hear anything about the benefit (date, bands, etc) I'll post it here. I will try my best to make it regardless of who plays. Love to see Rustic, PSC or AFA play.....(hint hint)

Pretty typical set as of late. Started out with Crash Landing. They moved some stuff around. They played the modified Sugarcoat. The strings were there. Encore was Pres and Light at the End. the crowd was sort of light, which is sad, but almost reflective of the music scene we've been dealing with in this area. There was a funny comment before the encore, to the effect of "Don't make me try to play your songs!"
No opener.
Highlight of the night: about 45 minutes after the band got off, and I was going to say good bye to someofthe band, and kicked a gin and tonic left on the floor. And the glass smashed. Joey the dork never fails to appear. There were some other happenings that night. A fun time all around
Anyways, if you're in the area, support the Stone Church. They're the best thing going around here, I guarantee. If they stay open: Butthole Surfers in late July.
