Is anyone going to record it? Someone at least get the setlist.
Can't wait to hear how it was.
Viva la rustic.

Tim, I don't know what your plans are for the video you have, but if you want to send me a raw copy of the files on DVD or whatever, I can master it with menus and song selection and such and seed a torrent.
Maybe you already plan on doing that. I don't know.
let me know if you are interested.

Hey again. That offer goes out for anyone who has any live footage. If you have some shows on VHS, see if you can get a copy to me and I'll make DVDs out of it.
For the less tech savy, the best way to do this is find someone with a combo VCR/DVD recorder and send me the raw dvd. That should be the easiest way nowadays (instead of copying from VHS to VHS) but like I said, I can transfer myself if you can only send VHS.
It would be great to have a few shows on DVD with nice menus and shiz.
let's work it out

Mr. Hanalei, first, that's a great offer, thank you in advance and I hope folks take you up on it if they can't handle that stuff on their own. I'd love to see some Rustic DVDs start to circulate and we can get B&P instructions up here for anyone who'd be into that.
The second thing is, would you mind very much, if it'll let you since you're not registered, changing the subject line on this thread to include the date so that people aren't getting confused about what show. I can see if Tim will do it but if it'll let you take care of it then great. I'd imagine people are going to start checking this thread for word on the Portland show today and I'd rather see separate threads for each show. Thanks.

Heh, actually I am registered, I just wasn't logged in. So yeah, I can't change the title since it was posted under "guest" but I'm sure Tim can change it. If anyone wants to send me some shows on VHS, raw DVD (.avi or whatever format...), ect... email me at mrhanalei@gmail.com put "rustic" somewhere in the email header and I'll send you my address. This will be great especially if I can get some real early shows. I remaster the audio too to the best of my ablity. This will be cool.

Hey Mr. H, I'm just curious what you use for editing your videos and such. I used to do that a lot back in the 2001-2003 timeframe, and was a big fan of Adobe Premiere for video editing and DVD-Lab for building the custom menus and such. I'm on a Mac now, so for the few that I do now (have moved onto other hobbies) I tend to take the easy way out and use iMovie and iDVD. If I start doing it again seriously, I might try out Final Cut.
I was pretty good with Premiere back in the day. I did frame-by-frame restorations of some videos I had made back in high school, fixing the issues typical to old VHS tapes (lines in picture, frame drop-outs, etc), and even hand-animated a whole Osbournes-esque intro sequence for one video.

I'll probably using premier. It's what I know anyways. Maybe I'll try something new, you never know.
I haven't gotten into it too far... not to the point of removing artifacts frame by frame... that's dedication my man!! ;D
I'll just wait to see if I get anything and go from there. I've done a few shows before, but nothing other that adjusting levels on the audio track and adding animated menus ( little syncing here and there).
I haven't done it in a while either so I'll be looking into all the new progs available.
