Just searching around for a couple of things to do when I'm in Portland on the 4th and found this: portlandempire.com/sched.phpFriday July 18 / 9PM As Fast As (21+) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday July 19 / 5PM As Fast As (All Ages) :Just thought I'd share. I won't be able to make these shows, but hope someone does. Set lists are nice, but recordings are always better.

Unfortuntaly, there were about 25 people at this show. Two moms with their two kids each, me and my buddy, and a neighbor of Spencer. It was pretty sad. Got a set list from both nights from Andrew, and they are pretty much the same other than Tech and Fierce are noted on on the side of the Friday list. Not sure what was played Friday though. No encore Saturday (and I don't blame them) but it would have been Creep and This Time according to the list. Damnit!!! Also, Andrew said is not public yet but they are playing in early August on the Pier? (OOB or Portland) with John Fogarty. Good times!

Bummer to hear the Saturday show wasn't so great. Friday night was excellent. Creep was on the setlist, but not played. The four song marathon in the middle was pretty crazy. Encore started with part of Wipeout (Surfaris/Beach Boys). Spencer said something about the John Fogarty show at the end of the night. Something Fierce and Technicolor Love were not played. Will post audio.
Setlist: 1. Destroy the Plastique Man 2. Blame it on the Drugs 3. Beakless Bird 4. Picture Book 5. Gretchen My Captain 6. All These Words 7. Dancing a Murderous Tango 8. So Good 9. This Is Real> 10. Your Lips to G-d's Ears> 11. Somebody's Fool> 12. Road to Hell 13. Girlfriend 14. Sleighjacking 15. What a Shame 16. Encore Break 17. Wipeout 18. Open Letter to the Damned 19. If I Only Knew 20. This Time

Guess after reading my post again it may have come across wrong. The show itself was awesome. I'm amazed how much energy they will put into a handful (or less) of people. And also how tight they always are for a band that does not play that many shows together. I'll post a pic of both setlist as it is all I got, forgot the camera. Can't wait for the audio from Friday!! Thanks! I was really disappointed at the turnout. It was pretty heavily promo'd (CYY Summer Camp) and this is such a good band. People just don't know what they're missing. And with the early start, we were drinking Geary's on the patio at Buru's by 8:15. Good Times!

Glad to hear the show was good. The fact that they blow away shows in front of crowds you can count on two hands makes me admire them even more. I've been to a few of those shows, and they were some of the best we've even seen. I saw them at Higher Ground in Burlington VT with about 6 other people.

Also, Andrew said is not public yet but they are playing in early August on the Pier? (OOB or Portland) with John Fogarty. Good times! There's info on www.porttix.com about Baystock with John Fogerty! I had fun at both shows, moreso on friday though. I'll try to get some pics uploaded!
