Ok Burlington crew, let's get pumped! It's actually on a Saturday that I happen to not be working, so count me in.
Date via Pollstar, no other details yet.
EDIT: This show is for St. Michael's Students only

Great to hear. I've heard that they're going to start doing some of their newer songs live. Wonder if the Boston Cruise will be the night they start sharing them.
With the success of my recording attempts at the Lettuce show I'll try the get this show complete.
I'll see what I can come up with over the 4th of july break.

STUPID COLLEGE SHOWS!!!
I shot the activities dept. an email to get more info and they responded by telling me this is a STUDENT'S ONLY SHOW. Man I hate when they do that. Now, I love Rustic and think they deserve WAY more recognition than they get, but what business does St. Mike's have making this a students only show? I get it when there's a chance that most students will be shut out by all the outsiders snatching up tickets, but seriously, I think they could stand to open this up to the public. I hope the band knows this is a students only gig so when the crowd is lame they'll understand why.
So pissed right now.

St mikes regular semester doesnt start up until August 27. I imagine they would have to sell some public tickets to fill a show with just the summer students. I will find a way in one way or the other!

I can see on one hand why it would be a students only show, as, like you said, they don't want non-students taking up all the tix.
On the other hand, if there isn't too much of a buzz about the show on campus, or the band themselves, it'll probably be sparsely attended w/ a lame crowd.
I bet they give students a first crack at tickets, then release the rest to the public at the door to fill the place. Keep in mind it's a student-run show (sort of) and they'll need to sell as many tickets as possible to keep being able to have shows (is that just wishful thinking?)

Well, I'd love to think they'll open it to the public but info is spotty at the moment and I know that my student activities board was always REALLY adamant about their "students only" events. I don't think it would be a bad idea to send a few more emails their way and see what happens. Here is the response I got from Kelly Grace, the Student Activities Director, asking for more info about the show, along with her contact info if anyone else is inclined to call or write "Yes Rustic Overtones are playing at Saint Michael’s on the 13th.. It is a closed to the public event ..open to Saint Michael’s Students only Does this help?" Grace A. I know you'd want to get into this show, but I wouldn't keep sending e-mails in the hope that they will make it open to the public. It's unlikely that it will happen.
It's up to the buyer of the show what they want, and in this case St. Michaels chose to have it as a private show.

Thanks for the response J, good to know you guys are at least aware of it. Hope you can make it back over our way for a public show in the near future.
