So, does anyone have any inside info about the origins of the tracks on the new album? I mean, we know that Letter to the President, Troublesome, and Light at the End are all new recordings and Carsick was supposed to be on the ill-fated "This Is Rock And Roll" album. Oxygen is presumably a new track too. But what about the others?
HWP and Black Leather Bag sound like they could be Rooms By The Hour (or slightly thereafter) era recordings. I remember talk of Carnival from around the This Is Rock And Roll times, but it doesn't sound like the other material from that period (which is probably why it's not on Viva Nueva).
