Spencer and Zach have a new group together. They're playing their first set of originals tonight at 9 at Space Gallery in Portland.

Hi,
Thanks for joining the School Spirit Mafia group. This is probably going to be our hub as MySpace is such a pain in the ass and I find Facebook users to be more responsive anyway. I know there's a lot going on here, so I'll try not to over message you.
That said, here's the deal with The School Spirit Mafia. After Jones and I lost our beloved Andrew and Hache to warmer climates and beautiful ladies, we were left with a huge hole. We both loved playing with AS FAST AS and miss those guys A LOT. However, we knew we needed to make music. The thought was getting a shit ton of talented, upbeat and productive people together to play and sing together. Simple really.
Our first show was at the Space Gallery Homecoming dance where we played a bunch of golden oldies. Our next mission was to tackle The Beatles White Album in it's entirety (a smashing success, thanks to Justin and The Asylum for the great help.) All the while we've been working on an album of original music and if all goes swimmingly, we'll be releasing it in the Spring. So now it's time to go out in the world and play the new songs.
Our first originals show will be tonight at SPACE Gallery on Congress Street in Portland, ME. I know it's last minute, but I wanted to let you know. We hit at 10:00pm and are playing with The Howlies and The King Left, two cool bands that are on tour together, so we appreciate them letting us crash the party. Hope you can make it out.
