DETAILS:
Gritty McDuff’s, Maine’s first brew pub since Prohibition, will kick off its 21st anniversary year by hosting the party of the season.

Gritty’s Portland brew pub will host Gritty’s beer-lovers from throughout the region at its Dec 21st “Beerthday” event. The festive celebration will kick-start the brew pub’s 21st year of brewing award-winning British-style ales and stouts, and will provide the festive backdrop for the Grand Pour of Gritty’s just-launched 21 IPA.

Members from Portland’s own band, “The Rustic Overtones,” and several guest musicians will rock the house with live sets to begin after the Patriot’s game. Gritty’s 21st Anniversary Beerthday celebration also will feature Gritty’s original 1988 menu and prices, and a “Santa’s bag” full of prizes and party favors to be awarded throughout the day.

did anyone go to this??? I wanted to go but due to the storm ... any details would be appericated ..

We went, watched the Pat's game, had some 21 IPA's (wicked good) and ate cheap. But, no show materialized. Not sure if it was the storm or what, but we hung out until around 7:00 ish and nothing. It was still a good time.
