Wow. My favorite CD!
The CD is flawless, besides a few major things I did not like.
What's up with Cherry? It sounds like Dave is in a tin can, like a 2.5 khz can.
Room 6. Wtf? This is really disappointing. I know the story behind it, but I don't like the mix at all. It's mastered / mixed / and recorded badly. The guitar sounds like shit. He's going through a MESA for christ sake. Sounds like a Ibanez 1990 distortion pedal with treble and drive settings at 10.
The original Rooms remains perfection. I just don't see how they could add these songs to a flawless album. To make an extra buck? They sure didn't spend money on mastering.

I gotta wait till I get back in Maine to get it .. Can't wait. That's too if they did drop the ball on those songs. I really enjoy Cherry. Hopefully I get that ticket!!

I am actually very happy with it is as I was Long Divison. 1) I get to replace my worn out, scratched up copy of Rooms for $10 2) I get three more songs that I really like, bad sound or not. 3) Cool artwork 4) A sweet letter by Tony giving some insight into some of the songs and the band that I had never heard before. 5) The band is getting almost all the cake $$!

Got my copy and just gave it a listen. I'll agree that the production is a bit odd on the bonus tracks.
However, I do like that Cherry is a different version than the one they used to give away as an MP3 on the old website. Also, Last Night's Band has a slightly different intro and outro than the one they had on MySpace for a while. Finally, I like Room 6. Pretty cool song.

Yeah, I was a bit underwhelmed...but I was with the LD rerelease, as well.
I think Cherry sounds great. It's got that "new Overtones compression" sound and sounds much bigger than the original version I have. Room 6 is a cool story, and I enjoy listening to it as if I were their A+R guy going, "I signed you because of Hardest way Possible, WTF is this?" Last Night's Band is growing on me, but I think there's a reason those 2 songs were never really released.
All in all, given the choice - I'd definitely buy it again. Hopefully they make some cheddar off these 2 reissues and can tour down to NC sometime before they break up again.
