Dirt ep

My copy of the ep Dirt has a defective first track. It plays for about seven seconds and then resets. The recording also ends before the song is finished. Has anyone else encountered this?
I love the fact that I have this because it is unusual; however, I would also like to obtain a copy of the ep with a full version of Dirt. That song kicks ass and I can never listen to the whole thing.

Second, the song and the album are called "My Dirt". Not a big deal obviously, but still off-putting to read

I've never had any issues with my copy or heard of any widespread problems. That sucks that you ended up with a lemon. It's not scratched is it?

As far as finding a new copy of the album, they pop up on the Amazon Marketplace all the time at various prices. The same goes for ebay where I've seen it listed anywhere from $3 to $25.

I got my copy about 5 years ago when I was doing a trial of emusic. They were doing a thing where when you sign up with a credit card you got 25 free downloads to test and see if you like the service before you were charged. I was searching around and found it, cancelled the subscription before i used all the downloads, so i got it for free!

I'm not sure what kinds of deals or trials they are doing now, but they do still have the EP on their website for purchasing. In addition to the My Dirt EP, they have the re-issued Light at the End, and original Rooms by the Hour & Long Division.
