Hey, does anyone know whether the string players (Callie and Angela I believe?) are official members of the band now? You can hear them play on most of the songs on the new album (unless thats Spencer on the synths), and they played at both BullMoose shows I went to. Anyone know if they're official or if they're just touring members?
If they are official, that would pretty much officially make Rustic Overtones the biggest band ever... 0_o

Strings were there tonight at the patio.
But they still haven't beaten the Polyphonic Spree. 32 members!? What!?

Did anyone notcie that the 2nd violin wasn't there the second night at the all ages show?? did they kick her out?
she was in all the bullmoose shows.. and the 21+ show.. but def wasn't at the all ages show

She was playing a larger sting instrument, perhaps a cello? |

no, that was a different member!!! i think they may have added a chello and taken out the other violin.. the girls look similar but its def not the same people

Yes I think they swapped. I was hoping they would introduce the other members that played (another sax and trombone for a song or two?). I couldnt see that side as well and didnt realize there was a cello until toward the end of the show.

The other horn players (7/29 show) were from Esperanza, I was told
I heard a funny CYY commercial when I was up north for the shows-- it was that robotic dude talking about the "recently reunited Rustic Overtones , now sporting over 30 members. Also known as 'mega-Earth, Wind and Fire' "
All in jest of course!
It blows my mind that the band is all over the radio in maine! I got a kick out of just tuning in, and hearing the best band no one's ever heard of , and also still the best band you HAVE heard of.
