Is anyone recording it off the web? The sound quality is top notch, as has been the norm /w Wcyy. I am up in the county and my whole family called to laugh at me, bragging they are there and I am not, course I am listening to the live stream, but would be nice to have a permanent copy of this historic event.

I'm recording the stream. It's "okay" quality, but I really hope someone is recording from the radio to a wave file.
Quality is key!! I'm not a big fan of streams and MP3s. MP3s are okay if they are encoded @ 320.

Mario, I'll have it up very soon. I plan on remastering and tracking it, but I'll just MP3 it and throw it up here for now. Might take a half hour for me to get it here. Stay tuned. Also, I warn you, I was browsing the web when i was recording and in the middle of Long Division there are two quick loud "growls" . HAHAHAA!! I was on a page that had embedded code that played some werewolf noise or something. ;D It's a lot louder than the music and it kinda scares you!

Yeah, thanks much mrhanalei, I probably won't have a chance to edit mine down for a few days and if you're going to remaster and track it then I'll probably just snag yours rather than have multiple copies posted. If you want, I can cut out my Long Division and send it to you to get rid of the growl issue, as long as mine came out ok.

What a great setlist! You can't get a much better selection of songs than that.

They obviously put a fair amount of thought into it and now I'm even more excited to see/hear what they play over the weekend. The fact that they played Darryl is very cool.

HEY! I got it all separated up.. thanks mrhanalei for uploading the first version... i had it recording through audacity as well... and i separated it up when i got home... HERES THE DOWNLOAD LINK www.mediafire.com/?6oc03bnhhmmThis show was GREAT!!!! Ohhh yeah, you also mention about mastering this?? It's already mastered. It gets mastered once through a sound guy, then WCYY's limiters and compressors finalize the "mastering" i think it sounds killer, and i dont think you'll be able to "re-master" it without having the original mix that only the radio station has

Tim, did you record from the radio??
When something is "streamed online" quality goes down a lot. I haven't heard your version yet (I'm getting now), but mine was from the webcast.
When I say remaster, I mean tweak levels, add bass, remove hiss, ect.
Webcasts are nowhere near the quality that these shows could circulate at.
For around $200 someone could get setup with a decent mic and a digital recorder. If I was still on the East Coast, I'd do it, but I'm willing to help out in any way.
Plugging into the soundboard would be key. I don't imagine it would be that hard for some of you.
A laptop into the soundboard is VERY easy.
Just a thought. Let me know if you want more tech info on how to do it.
