Just bumping this in the hopes that I'll finally remember to go buy my tickets this weekend.
Who's planning on going? Anyone going to try and tape?

Too bad they can't do a weekend there. I'd head up. No weeknight trips to VT for me.

I'll be there for sure! My last attempt at HG was no good, but I should be set to tape this time.

I'll be there tonight, but it looks like Ryan and Nigel won't be there. They're being billed with Soulive at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, NY tonight.

Heh, funny. If I'd known Soulive was playing here ahead of time I probably would have gone. Guess I need to pay more attention!

Not sure who else went, but I didn't really keep track this time for a set list. I didn't take pictures and I didn't record. I went to see and enjoy the show. And what a good show it was. Hope Hands was there and got any of this recorded.
Highlights,
Sugarcoat - was played in a Russian music dance style that built into a roots rock reggae and then back again. I have never ever heard this version of Sugarcoat and I know if Ryan and Nigel had been there we would have never heard it.
Dig was played as well along with Girl Germs, Rock, Love, HWP, Carsick, History, C'mon, Long Division, Smallest spark, LATE, along with a few others that escape me.
Encore had the Highlight of the night for this guy in the front row name Jake (i think). He had been singing along all night; so Dave said "this next song is a hard one and seeing that you seem to know all our songs I need help on the words" So it was pretty cool to see this kid sing Feast or Famine with Gutter on stage. And yes he knew all the words. Very cool.
I really liked this show. Tony's brother filled in at Sax and did a pretty good job of trying to fill some mighty big shoes. Jason played solos on Flute and Barry Clarinet. And yes it was a barry clarinet. Noyes did an awesome trombone solo as well. I really would like to see more from both of them in the future with solos. Not that I don't like Ryan it's just that it shows how dynamic and talented these two guys are and they are sometimes over shadowed by the rest.
Oh and the violin was hot as usual
I would have to say that those 100+ of us that were there had a chance to see a very different side of Rustic without Ryan and Nigel. I think this was a great show to see and I'm glad that I had a chance to see this side of Rustic that so few get a chance to see.

I agree with Nuphus, really cool show!! It was fun to see new instruments and a different balance on some songs.
Girl Germs Oxygen->Carsick Combustible History Crush troublesome HWP Iron Boots crash Landing Sugarcoat RLW C'mon->Gas on Skin Smallest Spark Dig Light
Love Underground Feast or Famine (feat. the Enigma, the Legend, Jake!)
I did get a recording, the whole thing even. Would have been better if I could have gotten the mic up higher, but I dont have a very tall stand and didnt feel like carrying extra stuff. Not bad quality otherwise. I'll get a link up later tonight.

Yea, sorry mediafire is kind of iffy. It wasn't working this am, it is working now. Send me a PM if you are still unsuccessful and I'll send you a file transfer or CD.
