What, am I the only one that went to this show? Hehe... It was a pretty cool venue as you can see from the pic. Chairs in a horseshoe right around a small stage made for a pretty intimate night. Got to sit with a beer and enjoy some rustic. Oh, History Crush sounded soooo damn good. As you can also see from the pic there were about 12 people in attendance and 4 older folks got up and left shortly after the set started (I assume since it's a theatre club they might have a season pass or something and found it wasn't their cup of tea). Anyway, the band, clearly not that popular in CT, did a reasonably long set and made alot of jokes throughout. I wasn't expecting them to do an encore (they didn't in New York City LAST YEAR BOO) because of the low turnout. Some girl asked them to play Girl Germs after the rest of the band already left the stage (which is incidentally the song that got me into the band). Dave was yelling out: "Guys? GUYS?!?" So after that song they asked if anyone wanted another and my wife yelled out "COMBUSTIBLE". I know the band checks out this forum from time to time so would like to say thanks for the special night and sticking around for an encore considering the turnout. Why did I post so late? Not sure, but I finally posted because I am jonesing to see them live again and am waiting for this damn new album. Cheers! "Anyway, the band, clearly not that popular in CT..."
