i'm making the trip over from NY for this show, anything i should know about the brickhouse, i've never been.

Nothing special. Pretty small. I'd get tickets early as the line can be a pain as they hold people at the bottom of the stairs until the doors open. Pretty decent food downstairs and a pool table, usually see the guys down there pre-show. Awesome beer bar and brick oven pizza around the corner. Beer bar is cash only though but has an ATM. Oh and be careful parking in the lot out back. 1/2 is residents only and poorly marked. We got towed last time there.....wicked friggin' bummer.

thanks for the heads up i ordered my ticket online, they said i will be on the list. I am staying at a hotel near by that looks to be within walking distance to the bar.
is barely pub, the beer bar near by???

Yep. www.barleypub.comthere's andarticle about them in the latest Yankee Brew News as well. If you like craft beer, Brickhouse usually has a Rouge and a Smuttynose on tap as well. Yum! |

Be at Brickhouse around 6:30. Got some Rocktopus in their jukebox so i'll be pumping a few bucks in.

My goal is to be able to get up to The Barley Pub by 6:30. I'll be having a couple of beers and maybe some food there before the show per your advice.

Good show. Got some pictures I'll try to post. John was a storm trooper, Dave I'm not sure, 70's ish? He wasn't his usual chatty self pre-show. Seemed a little anoyed at us for asking him questions... Anyway bummer no encore and it seemed like a pretty rocking crowd. The Heist was on the set list for the encore but not played, wicked friggin' bummer.
