Last Night's Band Lyrics

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but while I love Light at The End, I'm also really digging Last Night's Band, which I had never heard until a month ago. However, I'm having trouble with the lyrics. I'm going to write down what I THINK Dave is saying (likely wrong) and then you marks can fix it, until we finally come out with some agreed upon lyrics. Again, I am awful at deciphering lyrics and apologize if i'm WAY off.

the only line I'm having trouble with is "the jealous got to me," I'm pretty sure that's not the correct line, but I can't offer any better guesses. I think the last word of the line is "name" though.

one thought i have is that the beginning of the second verse

"didn't catch her name"

instead of "jealous got to me"
