Just bought my tickets. Pricey, at $35 each, but I can't complain! It's worth the 5 hour drive down....

Just bought my tickets too I agree pricey, but all proceeds go to the Jesse fund (children w/cancer) One of the primary beneficiaries is Maine Children's Cancer Program. 90% of donations go toward helping those in need; which is huge, because all administrative work is done by volunteers. Last plug is I had a chance to see Ray Lamontagne in Burlington at the Flynn and Ryan, Jason, and Noyes all played with him. It sounded great and word has it that the Horns will be backing up Ray at this festival too. See ya there!!!!! Oh, ya I'm with ya on the megaphone www.thunderpowermegaphones.com/ThunderPower200& sticker www.decalsplanet.com/item-177-size-6-atari-logo.html

It just seems like every time I try to make it happen something comes up.

Dave would be very greatful if you bought him a megaphone and would love to use it for the festival. He looked for one a while a go when he did Tom Waits for "Clash of the Titans" but could not find one anywhere.

I can't make it but 4K, if you're going to be there are are willing to pick it up, hook us up with a Paypal name or address or something and I'll send you a few bucks. When I was throwing the idea together before, I envisioned possibly writing "from Rocklikewar.com" or something in sharpie on it, but if you're going to take over the planning it's your show. Let me know.

My plan is to order the one Nuphus reccomended above this weekend (unless anyone has another option). And then I'll take any donations as they come, no big deal I'll hopefully run into you all at some point and collect a free beer :-) Bad news is I may now miss this show too, but as soon as I get it and the group is good with the sticker...writing, whatever, I'll get it to Dave a head of time so he can check it out well before the show. And if I miss this one, hopefully bring it to another in the future. I can't wait for another Brickhouse or Asylum show.....hint...hint!!

You can count on me for a donation/several rounds of beer. I'm hoping to make the State Pier show.

Email Dave @ Davegutter@gmail.com. They played SMOKE last night in providence, it wasn't the same without the megaphone. He is gonna be really excited when I tell him you got one. They are in rehearsal all week working on the Ray Lamontagne set as well as a super special Rustic set.

I believe Mr. Noyes may have possession of said megaphone.

I have to admit that I prefer Smoke without the megaphone and with Kashmir included.

This message is from the rest of us scattered about the country who are drooling at the thought of this show. Secondly... Any chance of recording the Ray set with our boys sitting in? I'd sure love to hear both. Regardless - I'm grateful for any audio I can get from this show. You are doing me a great service, and I want you to know that I appreciate it.

Just got back. I was only able to get the Rustic set and Ray w/Rustic Set. We left after the last song that Ray did, but there might have been an encore with the whole group...
It will take me a few days to get through the 2 1/2 hours of music. The venue had some bad acoustics and the bass was cranked a bit over the top. I think I can doctor a bunch of it.
Good Night!
